Job summary

Capital One seeks a Director, Card Tech Risk Advisor to guide risk management across Card Technology. You will partner with senior technology and information security leaders to build industry‑leading risk solutions while enabling innovation and protecting customers and shareholders.

You will lead a team of risk professionals, drive risk identification and reporting, and ensure compliance with standards such as NIST, FFIEC, and PCI across both federated and centralized environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience required.
• 9+ years in technology, cybersecurity, risk assessments, or related fields.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• 4+ years in analyzing data extracts to identify trends and anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology (e.g. AWS) and cyber security capabilities to execute technology risk consulting.
• Lead and manage Technology Risk Managers within a comprehensive delivery model.
• Consult with Accountable Executives across Technology and interfacing areas.
• Collaborate across organizations to achieve objectives and report risks clearly.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and escalate key risks and issues.
