Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director, Card Tech Risk Advisor to lead technology risk management for the Card Technology division. The role partners with divisional leaders, enterprise technology, and Information Security to deliver risk insights and controls in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will oversee risk program development, collaborate with senior technology executives, and drive improvement through risk events management, governance, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; military experience acceptable.
• At least 9 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, risk management, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in people management.
• At least 4 years of experience in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology (e.g. AWS environment) and cyber security skills to deliver technology-related risk consulting to the business and stakeholders.
• Lead and manage a technology risk delivery model across the organization.
• Consult with Accountable Executives across Technology and collaborate with other lines of business.
• Interface with enterprise technology and other areas such as Cyber to deliver risk insights.
• Communicate complex issues and implications clearly, tailoring to audience.
