Job summary

ENERVEX Inc. in Alpharetta, Georgia, seeks a Director to lead the integrated Technical Services function (Applications Engineering and Technical Support). You will own both the design and field issue resolution, unifying roots cause analysis and workflow.

You will manage 8–12 engineers across two discipline leads, drive system sizing, SolidWorks work, BIM coordination, and Absorb LMS training, with a seat on the leadership team and budgeting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent with eight+ years in exhaust, venting, HVAC, or combustion design.
• Hands-on SolidWorks to build and critique models.
• Experience applying ASHRAE chimney design equations.
• LMS administration experience; Absorb LMS a strong plus.
• Three+ years leading a technical team.
• Ability to run a support queue to a service level within a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8-12 across applications engineering and technical support.
• System design and sizing for commercial/industrial projects; draft and static pressure calculations, equipment selection, ASHRAE/F fire safety standards.
• SolidWorks modeling, submittal drawings, BIM and clash detection coordination with contractors, specifying engineers, and owners.
• Technical support performance; response times, commissioning and startup support, field troubleshooting, warranty diagnosis.
• Manage the technical training program and Absorb LMS for internal staff, independent representatives, and channel partners.
• Seat on the leadership team with budget and annual planning responsibilities.
