Job summary

ENERVEX Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, seeks a Director to unite Applications Engineering and Technical Support into one Technical Services function.

You will lead 8–12 engineers and support staff, own system design and sizing for commercial and industrial projects, and ensure seamless field problem resolution from root cause to fix. You will review models, perform calculations using ASHRAE methods, coordinate BIM and submittals, manage a training program via Absorb LMS, and participate in the

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent with eight+ years in exhaust, venting, HVAC, or combustion system design.
• Hands-on SolidWorks proficiency to model and critique work.
• Experience applying ASHRAE chimney design equations.
• LMS administration experience; Absorb LMS a strong plus.
• 3+ years leading a technical team.
• Ability to run a support queue to service levels quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8–12 across applications engineering and technical support.
• Oversee system design and sizing for commercial and industrial projects.
• SolidWorks modeling, submittal drawings, and BIM coordination with contractors, specifying engineers, and owners.
• Technical support performance improvement including response times, commissioning and startup support, field troubleshooting, and warranty diagnosis.
• Direct the technical training program and Absorb LMS usage for internal staff, independent reps, and channel partners.
• Seat on leadership team, budget ownership, and annual planning.
