Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a Director of the Student Success Center & Testing to provide administrative oversight, lead SSC operations, tutoring programs, and testing services in Corpus Christi. The role supervises the SSC Lab, technicians, and works with the IT department to maintain equipment and software.

The Director will support the Dean of Student Engagement and Retention, manage the SSC budget, ensure testing security, and collaborate with faculty to enhance student retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as listed.
• Five years related experience; three in higher education environments.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Student Success Center and Testing daily operations.
• Oversee the SSC computer lab and staff, coordinating with IT.
• Collaborate with program coordinators to support tutoring and instruction.
• Coordinate hardware/software maintenance and campus audiovisual needs.
• Manage room scheduling and workshop events for students and staff.
• Provide advising and referrals for students, including non-enrolled.
• Ensure testing center compliance and manage test security.
• Prepare reports for district/state agencies and manage the budget.
