Job summary

Del Mar College seeks a Director to oversee the Student Success Center and Testing. You will supervise the SSC staff, coordinate tech support with IT, and ensure successful implementation of tutoring and testing services.

You will collaborate with faculty and staff to promote student persistence, retention, and success, while managing lab facilities and program budgets within a dynamic college environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience in higher education.
• Experience in student support services, student development, computer lab assistance and supervision of student workers.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the Student Success Center and Testing, supervising SSC staff.
• Oversee computer lab personnel and provide student support for software access and training.
• Coordinate technology assistance with SSC staff and IT for hardware, software and AV equipment.
• Schedule rooms and equipment for workshops, webinars, and seminars; advise students and prospective students.
• Manage testing center operations, including exam administration and coordination of assessments.
• Develop and monitor internal operational standards, policies and procedures for test security and compliance.
