Capital One is seeking a Senior Director of Tax Accounting to steer global tax provisioning, financial reporting, and forecasting across the enterprise. You will partner with the CTO and senior finance leaders to optimize the effective tax rate and capital planning, including M&A tax implications.

You will lead a team of 4 tax professionals, drive strategic tax modeling, and ensure SOX-compliant controls over income taxes while coordinating with corporate accounting and regulatory filings.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive corporate tax experience.
• Minimum 5 years of people-management experience.

Mansioni

• Lead global tax provision under ASC 740 for SEC filings.
• Oversee SEC disclosures with accuracy and transparency.
• Manage ETR, DTA, and deferred tax liabilities.
• Forecast tax outlooks and capital planning inputs.
• Direct tax workstreams for CCAR and stress testing.
• Mentor a team of 4 tax professionals.
