Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Plainsboro, NJ, seeks a Director of Strategic Pricing and Contracting to manage the end-to-end deal-to-contract process for top PBM/payer accounts, including pre-deal assessment, business-case development, and contract negotiation.

You will lead a team of 3–4 and partner with Market Access, Pricing, Legal and Analytics to secure market access at sustainable prices while protecting company profitability across diabetes, obesity and rare disease portfolios.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree required; relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in pricing, contracting, forecasting and financial modeling.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Advanced analytical, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and other key platforms.
• Ability to deliver message and presentations to executive audience in a clear, confident manner.
• Ability to interact and manage multiple internal relationships at all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-deal evaluation, pricing and contract development for top accounts.
• Develop business cases for Pricing Committee and offer terms.
• Prepare financial analyses and contract profitability forecasts.
• Lead contract templates with legal and ensure compliance.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with Market Access and Legal.
