Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Plainsboro, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Market Access Operations leader to manage day-to-day pharmacy program operations, drive new initiatives for patient support, and monitor budget efficiency across cross-functional teams.

You will develop dashboards, report KPIs, collaborate with Brand Marketing, Managed Markets, Legal and Finance, and oversee vendor performance while ensuring rigorous SOPs and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent is required.
• Seven years of experience in patient services operations, pharmaceutical sales/marketing/market insights, or related areas or a minimum of three years in strategic market access or pharmacy operations in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to translate strategies into measurable programs with high ROI.
• Ability to lead and collaborate on cross-functional teams.
• Anticipates problems and roadblocks to avoid crisis management.
• Proven track record of developing accurate short- and long-term business plans, results and follow up.
• Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace including regulatory and clinical processes.
• Develops accurate short- and long-term plans, forecasting, and business analysis.
• Project management and quantitative analysis skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and implement pharmacy capabilities and ongoing management of pharmacy programs
• Support inline and future launch products, including supervising vendors related to pharmacy support programs
• Partner with existing patient support program leads with a focus on operational excellence
• Develop performance dashboards and interpret data for market access trends, hub program utilization, and KPIs
• Understand competitive environment and their pharmacy and access strategies
• Collaborate cross-functionally within the commercial organization to design and implement pharmacy programs
• Champion integrated approach across teams to provide a best-in-class service offering
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to address business issues
• Enhance customer experience via benchmarking, feedback, auditing and call monitoring
• Ensure collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and maintain SOPs and budgets
• Drive development of company-wide processes and guidelines to support customer-focused objectives
• Develop communications and engagement strategies for internal and external audiences
• Deliver periodic updates on programs to the organization
