Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Strategic HR Business Partner, Director to translate workforce strategy into disciplined execution across functions and teams. This leader will shape workforce plans, talent processes, and leadership actions, ensuring alignment to business priorities with strong process discipline.

Working within an enterprise HR product model, you will diagnose gaps, activate enterprise HR solutions, and drive accountability for people decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong data‑driven problem solving to diagnose execution gaps.
• Experience translating workforce strategy into disciplined execution across a function, team cluster, or defined organizational area.
• Experience coordinating across HRBPs, HR Operations, and Centers of Excellence.
• Graduate‑level academic background from a leading HR program and/or experience leading scaled HR capability within industrial technology or complex manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate workforce strategy into disciplined execution across a function, team cluster, or defined organizational area.
• Identify gaps in workforce planning, headcount actions, talent processes, performance management, and development actions.
• Activate enterprise HR products as standard solutions to improve consistency, reduce manual workarounds, and strengthen data quality across talent processes.
