Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to set strategy, lead clinical research and partner with external stakeholders. The role drives health economics, policy, and reimbursement while overseeing pre-launch to lifecycle management.

The position reports to the Chief Medical Officer, operates within Medical & Scientific Affairs, and offers remote work options for a global business footprint.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level requirement (MD, PhD, PharmD, or DNP) with a minimum of 20 years of medical and clinical affairs experience.
• Board-certified hematologist preferred or required depending on role.
• Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead global strategies for health economics, policy, and reimbursement for Beckman solutions.
• Drive scientific positioning and clinical insights for product development and launch.
• Establish and cultivate academic partnerships and engage KOLs to advance hematology/urinalysis tech.
• Oversee cross-functional collaborations to support pre-launch, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
