Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Director to lead software product and tech diligence engagements for private equity clients. You will guide teams, manage client interactions, and deliver executive-ready insights across product features, architecture, IP, and hosting infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience in software/tech diligence.
• Experience working with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related deal diligence.
• Excellent written and oral communication, able to deliver executive-level materials.
• Proven ability to translate technical insights into commercial implications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related analytical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in the execution of software product and tech diligence engagements.
• Define objectives, scope and approach for diligence engagements with MD guidance.
• Interact with target management, conduct interviews, and present interim/final findings.
• Oversee data requests, organize artifacts, and manage client relationships.
• Support leadership in staffing, development, and delivery of engagement work.
