Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director, Software Development to lead software teams, evolve legacy applications into modern, supportable systems, and deliver quality results for the organization.

The Director will provide overall leadership for the software development team, collaborating with Product Owners, Agile Delivery, and IT leaders to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years IT Management experience leading software development teams.
• Experience with modern technologies, architectures, and agile development methods.
• Cloud-first development and microservice architectures.
• Experience using AI tools to improve delivery efficiency and accuracy.
• Proficiency with .NET, SQL, Angular, Oracle, React, etc.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and other tools.
• Experience applying agile methodologies and building automation testing frameworks.
• Ability to drive quality software delivery and support compliance objectives.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and mentor managers.

Responsibilities

• Execute with focus on results, accountability, and on-time delivery.
• Lead and mentor a team of managers responsible for software development.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Agile Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, and PMO.
• Build strong relationships with application business owners to meet needs.
• Develop a department that delivers high-quality code and modern architecture.
• Stay current with technologies, including AI, to guide strategy.
• Establish KPIs and metrics; report progress to stakeholders.
• Communicate progress and status of all development teams to diverse audiences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
