Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director of Software Development to lead the software development team, modernize legacy applications, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. This leader will drive Agile practices and collaborate with product owners, enterprise architecture, and PMO to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or other relevant technical field, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of IT Management experience, including direct leadership of software development teams.
Experience with modern technologies, architectures, and agile development methods.
Experience with cloud first development and microservice architectures or strategies.
Experience using Artificial Intelligence tools to improve delivery.
Experience with .NET, SQL, Angular, Oracle, React, etc.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
Experience managing agile methodologies.
Experience with automated and performance testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead software development and deliver high-quality results.
Provide leadership and direction for the software development team.
Evolve legacy applications into modern, supportable systems.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Agile Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and PMO.
Develop KPI’s and metrics for performance reporting.
Communicate progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay current with modern software technologies including AI.
