Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 12+ years in social media, digital communications, or social operations.
• Typically 5+ years leading enterprise social media governance and listening programs.
• Experience managing enterprise social platforms across multiple brands or units.
• Experience developing governance frameworks and enterprise processes.
• Experience in regulated industries (financial services, fintech, etc).
• Experience with vendors, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, access controls, and information management.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise governance standards, policies, playbooks, and operating guidance for social media.
• Maintain enterprise inventory of official social accounts with ownership and documentation.
• Manage enterprise access-control program for social platforms, including reviews and offboarding.
• Oversee social listening platforms, governance, configuration, and vendor management.
• Develop and improve the enterprise social listening program and dashboards.
• Transform social listening into actionable intelligence with audience insights.
• Produce intelligence briefs for multiple business functions and leadership.
• Lead issue detection and triage processes with defined severity and escalation.
• Lead social monitoring during events or reputational incidents with timely updates.
• Collaborate with Social Operations to embed governance in publishing workflows.
• Monitor platform changes and privacy rules, update governance accordingly.
• Create governance training and onboarding materials for employees and partners.
• Conduct governance reviews and platform audits with remediation tracking.
• Report governance and intelligence performance metrics.
