United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Director of Social Media to lead our global social strategy, shaping how we engage customers, users, and industry audiences across channels.

This player-coach role will guide two Social Media Managers, own the social budget, and partner with Marketing, Communications, Product, Sales, and Talent Acquisition to deliver high-impact programs in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in social media with leadership experience for a global brand
• Ability to own strategy, budget, headcount, tooling, and results
• Experience leading cross-functional programs and agencies
• Depth in YouTube strategy and channel growth
• Strong editorial judgment for social content
• Experience with paid social and audience strategy
• Ability to connect social programs to broader business priorities
• Proficiency with video formats and production partnerships
• Experience defining and reporting KPIs and dashboards
• Experience scaling an employee advocacy program

Responsibilities

• Own the performance of the company's social function and its contribution to marketing and business goals
• Lead global organic social media strategy, channel plans, and editorial priorities
• Own YouTube strategy end-to-end including programming, video packaging, and optimization
• Partner with Growth Marketing on paid social and alignment of audiences
• Develop audience-focused campaigns that support company and talent goals
• Plan and publish content across channels with a consistent company voice
• Manage social budget, tooling, and external partnerships
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Product, Sales, and Talent Acquisition
• Build processes for effective collaboration in a fully remote environment
• Lead measurement framework, dashboards, and executive reporting
• Partner with DevRel on community engagement and industry conversations
• Build and run creator, influencer, and advocacy programs
• Own employee advocacy program and drive adoption across functions
