Job summary

The Director, Skills & Marketplace Ecosystem at AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation will lead the strategy, governance, and evolution of the enterprise skills foundation across the organization. You will partner with HR Technology, Learning, and analytics to enable data-driven talent decisions and internal mobility.

This role requires proven leadership, change management, and vendor-management skills, with experience in Workday and/or Phenom considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 8+ years in enterprise talent or talent management initiatives.
• Knowledge of skills-based talent strategies, workforce transformation, internal mobility.
• Experience with HRIS, talent marketplace, skills intelligence, or workforce planning platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale talent or workforce programs.
• Experience working across HR, technology, analytics, and business functions.
• Strong program leadership, stakeholder management, and change leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing external vendors and strategic partnerships.
• Workday and/or Phenom experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, governance, and evolution of enterprise skills architecture.
• Establish standards and governance for a scalable skills framework.
• Align skills with business priorities and market trends.
• Oversee Talent Marketplace configuration and optimization.
• Design experiences for career opportunities, projects, mentors, and development paths.
• Drive adoption of skills-based talent practices across the organization.
• Partner with HR Tech, People Analytics, Learning, and vendors.
• Integrate skills data across HR, learning, and marketplace platforms.
• Advance skills inference, talent profiles, and insights.
• Measure data quality, platform performance, and ecosystem impact.
• Translate data into actionable workforce decisions.
• Explore emerging technologies and marketplace capabilities.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure value realization.
