Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a senior leader to design and execute its enterprise talent management and leadership development strategy. You will partner with senior leaders and field HR to align talent priorities with business goals, build a scalable framework, and drive measurable outcomes across North America.

You will oversee leadership development, succession planning, and executive coaching, while advancing analytics, AI-enabled capability, and practical training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Organizational Development, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10 years of enterprise talent management leadership experience, geographically dispersed operations.
• Proven ability to manage talent management frameworks, systems, and leadership development programs.
• Strong track record in organization design and leadership succession strategies.
• Experience with modern learning strategies and future-of-work concepts.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the enterprise talent management and leadership development strategy.
• Own the talent management framework, reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and HR to translate strategy into priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Improve workforce data quality and promote enterprise-wide adoption of talent practices.
• Develop internal talent via visibility, career pathways, and leadership readiness.
