Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. seeks a Director of Shelter Services to guide Arizona's statewide shelter programs.

You will supervise regional staff, align operations with grant requirements, and collaborate with the Senior Director of Housing and Community Integration to shape policy and service delivery. The role requires regular leadership meetings, data review for outcomes and contract compliance, and partnership with DBHS RBHA and HUD-funded programs.

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years of leadership over programs and grant management.
• Proven success with large-scale initiatives, change management, and culture shifts.
• Demonstrated experience directing and implementing new systems and processes to enhance internal operations and organizational effectiveness.
• State of AZ Driver’s License in good standing.
• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) credential per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and oversight for Arizona statewide shelter programs.
• Support management staff to ensure optimal program performance and staff productivity.
• Develop and maintain shelter services including grant management and operations.
• Review data and outcomes with leaders to ensure goals and contract compliance.
• Participate in weekly leadership meetings and policy development.
