Job summary

HRM is seeking an Associate Director of Residential Services to oversee the Emergency Shelter programs, ensuring a safe, trauma-informed environment for survivors at high risk. Working with the Director of Stability Services, you will set goals, manage staff, and coordinate services across housing, food, and advocacy.

You will lead a team of resident advocates, supervise resource planning, and ensure compliance with HUD, VAWA, and OVW requirements while supporting agency mission and 24/7 crisis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or program management experience.
• Experience in crisis response, hotline services, emergency shelter, or victim services.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of Residential programs including shelter, food service, and admin.
• Leads staffing plans, supervision, and performance evaluation of staff.
• Establishes program standards, policies, and quality assurance.
• Manages budgets and occupational safety compliance.
• Coordinates partnerships and contract compliance with HUD/VAWA/OVW guidelines.
