Job summary

Shelter House, Inc invites applications for the Assistant Director of Programs at Fair Ridge, leading the service delivery team for homelessness prevention and emergency shelter/rapid rehousing programs serving families with children.

You will supervise case managers and coordinate data, ensure compliance with regulations, and develop program policies in partnership with the Director, fostering trauma-informed practice and a client-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• 3+ years of program and staff management experience.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and make sound judgments.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the case management team using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.
• Oversee daily operations, caseload distribution and team workflows.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, policies, and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Director to design and evaluate programs and procedures.
• Support program improvement through needs assessments and client satisfaction surveys.
