Job summary

Pollo Tropical, a fast-growing restaurant concept, seeks a Director of Real Estate Development in Miami, FL to lead the execution of strategic investment and 100+ restaurant expansion plans. You will oversee relocations, acquisitions, dispositions, and lease-related expenses, coordinating with Finance, Legal, Marketing, Construction, and Operations to optimize the portfolio.

Responsibilities

Partner with VP of Real Estate for new site approval process.
Obtain and analyze market and trade area data.
Evaluate existing and new restaurant performance.
Interface with internal and external stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Marketing, Construction, Facilities, Operations, Brokers, Landlords/Developers).
Prepare reports for Chief Development Officer and Real Estate Committee.
Manage LOIs, leases, estoppels, amendments, notices, real estate tax appeals, lease expenses.
Travel to market areas to inspect proposed sites and competitors.
