Collins Aerospace in the United States is hiring a Director in Business Development for the Resilient Connectivity portfolio reporting to the Executive Director of business development for the Mission Systems unit. The role leads the BD team across U.S. and international comms and datalinks technologies and products.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in new business pursuit, competitive capture, and a strong background in U.S. CONOPS.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and 14+ years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with 12+ years of experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business development team supporting pursuits and new business capture across U.S. and international portfolios.
• Drive capture strategies and market shaping efforts with Program Management, Engineering and BD.
• Develop, forecast, and capture new and existing opportunities while maintaining relationships with military service and OEM customers.
• Prepare and present compelling growth opportunities including market and price-to-win analyses.
