Job summary

UGE is seeking a Director, Project Management to lead the execution of a diverse solar and storage portfolio from planning to handoff.

Based in New York, this onsite-hybrid role partners with the Managing Director to shape strategy, governance, and performance across projects. You will mentor Project Managers, drive schedules and budgets, ensure safety and compliance, and report key metrics to leadership in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quantitative field.
• 8+ years solar/energy storage project management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership for senior stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to drive teams to meet deadlines and project goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across multiple projects from NTP to COD and handoff.
• Define governance, standards, KPIs, and controls for consistent delivery.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and internal resources.
• Oversee budgets, cash flow, risk, and contract oversight across the portfolio.
• Report portfolio performance and risks to executive leadership.
