Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Operations leader to shape and execute the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy across multiple distribution centers in the United States.

You will mentor the operations team, optimize logistics, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, manage budgets and KPIs, ensure food safety compliance, and partner with Sales, IT, and Finance to deliver reliable, cost-effective service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (APICS, Six Sigma) desired.
• 10+ years in operations management with 5+ years in senior leadership; food distribution experience preferred.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-region operations.
• Strong food safety, inventory management, and distribution logistics experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the operational strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team; foster high performance.
• Drive cost reductions and efficiency through Lean, Six Sigma, and best practices.
• Oversee supply chain from procurement to delivery to ensure timely, quality fulfillment.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contracts.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Lead logistics and distribution to optimize national networks and costs.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance systems and processes across the supply chain.
• Establish KPIs and monitor performance with corrective actions when needed.
• Manage budgets, P&Ls, and cost-control initiatives.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to align client expectations.
