Job summary

BridgeBio Pharma is seeking a Director, Managed Markets - Regional - Northeast to lead access strategy across a ten-state Northeast territory, including NY, NJ, MA, PA, and others. You will manage 16 accounts, coordinating with Sales, Medical, HEOR, and Pricing to secure payer coverage and rapid access for rare-disease products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in biotech/pharmaceutical industry
• At least 5 years in regional payer account management
• Solid understanding of payer sector and Medicaid (Managed/FFS)
• Willingness to travel 50–60% of time

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with regional commercial payers, Medicaid programs, and IDNs within the Northeast territory
• Lead account strategy for Northeast relationships with Blue plans, regional payers, and provider-sponsored plans
• Develop and execute account-specific business plans to support rapid and durable access for approved products
• Profile formulary and medical policy review processes, utilization management, and key decision makers
• Coordinate with Medical, HEOR, Marketing, Trade, Pricing and Contracting, Field Reimbursement, Sales, and Operations to deliver value stories and resolve access issues
• Communicate payer policy and coverage changes to field teams and maintain knowledge of Medicaid policy and market dynamics
