Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Director for the R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management team to lead a group of project managers and coordinators across designated business verticals. You will drive governance, translate customer needs into product requirements, and shape global launch strategies with cross-functional collaboration.

You will mentor staff, champion best practices, and contribute to strategic initiatives across the GPPM and broader R&D organization.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• 10+ years in Medical Device/Pharma R&D project management and leadership.
• BS/BA in Science or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• PMP certification a plus; Agile methodologies preferred for software projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of project managers for R&D programs.
• Oversee NPD governance and ensure alignment with portfolio strategy.
• Develop project valuations, budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
• Mentor GPPM staff and drive process improvements across R&D.
