Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is actively recruiting for a Director, R&D DDSAI Therapeutics Development Supply (TDS) - AI Solutions. The role leads Applied AI/ML, GenAI, and agentic co-scientist initiatives to turn scientific data into scalable AI workflows.

You will oversee a team of several data scientists and engineers and partner with DDSAI, J&J Technology, and process experts. The position emphasizes governance, production-ready deliverables, and measurable impact on TDS’s digital

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in quantitative field required.
• 10+ years in applied data science or AI solution development.
• Experience leading teams of data scientists and ML engineers.
• Strong Python and modern ML stack experience.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage project scope.
• Experience delivering AI/ML into production with MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the TDS AI Solutions strategy and roadmap.
• Lead design, build, validation, and delivery of AI/ML and GenAI solutions.
• Establish reusable patterns and scalable architectures.
• Own technical direction and multi-year roadmap for AI capabilities.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of data scientists and engineers.
• Collaborate with scientists, SMEs, and platform teams to deploy solutions.
