Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Director of Data Science to lead a team of applied data scientists, ML engineers, and GenAI engineers that turn R&D data into AI-driven workflows. You will own the design, build, and productionization of AI solutions aligned to the TDS roadmap, with a focus on scalable, reusable capabilities implemented across DDSAI and J&J Technology.

The role requires hands-on leadership, collaboration with scientists and SMEs, and the ability to scale data science

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or higher in a quantitative field required.
• 10+ years in applied data science, ML, or AI solution development.
• 3+ years in people leadership; proven ability to deliver AI/ML into production.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the TDS AI Solutions strategy and portfolio roadmap.
• Lead design, build, validation, and delivery of AI/ML and GenAI solutions.
• Establish reusable patterns, evaluation frameworks, and scalable architectures.
