Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director of Data, Data Science & AI to lead a team of data engineers, data scientists, and ontology developers in support of Therapeutics Development & Supply (TDS). The role focuses on building data platforms, semantic models, and governance to enable AI-ready data products for R&D DDSAI.

Primary location is Spring House, PA and the team partners across R&D, DDSAI, and IT. The candidate will drive data strategy, establish scalable data pipelines, and ensure data

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• 10+ years in data engineering/architecture or data science platform development, with at least 3 years in people leadership.
• Deep expertise in modern data stack technologies: cloud architectures (AWS, Snowflake), Python, SQL, graph databases, and semantic technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Product & Data Strategy for TDS, building multi-year roadmaps for data products and ontology to enable AI/ML and GenAI priorities.
• Define and deliver AI-ready data products; oversee scalable data pipelines and platforms from diverse sources; ensure data quality and governance.
• Provide people leadership for 5+ ICs; partner with DDSAI, R&D, and IT to deliver governed, reusable data products.
