Job summary

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is seeking an IT Director of Quality Engineering to lead a centralized QE function across the application portfolio. The role focuses on building governance, standards, and automation to improve software delivery while reducing risk.

Hybrid work is available after training at RBFCU’s Live Oak campus in Texas. The ideal candidate will drive QE strategy, establish metrics, and partner with architecture, security, and product teams to modernize RBFCU’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Technology Delivery.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing quality engineering or software delivery teams.
• 3+ years in a financial institution operations domain (e.g., Lending, Finance, Audit).

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the enterprise Quality Engineering vision and roadmap.
• Build a centralized Quality Engineering organization across all application teams.
• Define governance, standards, policies, and quality gates across the SDLC.
• Drive automated testing adoption and CI/CD integration.
• Partner with business and technology leadership to support RBFCU goals.
