Job summary

MTA Construction & Development is seeking a Director, Programs to lead a capital program or multiple projects across phases from planning to handover. You will oversee safety, quality, risk, and commercial matters, ensuring on-time delivery within budget, and coordinating with stakeholders at all levels.

This role requires a strong leadership presence, extensive experience in construction or program management, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum ten years of related experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or project management.
• At least five years in management of construction programs or supervisory roles in large organizations.
• Licensure or certification in PE/Architecture desirable and PMP/CCM preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a program from planning through completion and handover to operating owner.
• Ensure program safety, quality, risk, and commercial performance on time and within budget.

10+ years related experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.

5+ years in management of construction programs or supervisory role in a large organization.

Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect desirable.

PMP and CCM certifications preferred.
