HDR is a leading global design and engineering firm seeking an experienced Director to guide the Water Business Group's professional services delivery. You will align technical practice, drive quality, manage risk, and lead diverse teams to deliver complex programs and projects that support public health and infrastructure resilience.

The role emphasizes executive leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development within HDR's employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience
• Experience leading professional services, program management, and project delivery
• Maintaining AEC industry associations
• Active participant in employee-owned culture

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development and training of business group staff in technical, professional, business and service delivery competencies.
• Develop approaches to new or developing technologies and digital delivery methods.
• Lead evaluation, implementation and adoption of professional services technologies and enabling systems.
• Coordinate staff training in company policies and processes including risk management, quality and delivery.
• Lead and monitor continuous improvement efforts, including development of standards, lessons learned and technology-enabled processes.
• Support recruitment, staffing, workload balancing, and cross-group collaboration to advance delivery strategies.
