Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director for Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) – CFO Services, Finance Transformation in the Charlotte area. You will lead complex engagements, advise senior clients, and drive sustainable financial improvements across R2R, O2C, P2P, and FP&A processes.

You will supervise engagement teams, advance methodologies, and contribute to business development while partnering with CFOs and finance leaders to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant experience in Finance Transformation.
• Strong understanding of core finance and accounting processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A).
• Experience developing financial analyses, business cases, and executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focused on improving finance function performance and driving operational efficiency.
• Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement future-state finance operating models and implementation plans.
• Lead initiatives involving finance process optimization, automation, digitization, and management reporting enhancement.
