Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an exceptional strategy leader to shape the long‑term growth agenda for its Power Providers sector. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will partner with leadership to decide where BV should compete and how to invest, translating market opportunities into profitable growth.

This hybrid role engages across generation, grid modernization, advisory, and lifecycle services, guiding strategy from insight to execution while addressing load growth, grid resiliency,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Must complete pre-employment onboarding requirements per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead sector-aligned strategy work across Power Providers growth priorities.
• Evaluate investments, partnerships, acquisitions, and capital allocation choices.
• Develop investment cases, models, and roadmaps for execution.
• Engage with senior leaders to align strategy with enterprise goals.
• Coach and develop strategy talent while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
