Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Princeton, NJ seeks a Director to own the planning tools portfolio (ePlan/Planisware and related systems) used by Program Managers and GPTs to plan development programs aligned with IPES and IADPs.

The role partners with BI&T to translate portfolio needs into business cases, define roadmaps, and drive adoption across the organization. Strong governance and AI-driven process innovation are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical drug development, portfolio/program management, or enterprise systems.
• Experience owning or governing planning tools at enterprise scale (e.g., Planisware, MS Project).
• Strong understanding of drug development processes and how IADPs/IPES are built and used.

Responsibilities

• Own the planning tools portfolio strategy and multi-year roadmap for PM planning systems.
• Translate requirements into clear business cases and success criteria for BI&T and partners.
• Balance investment, prioritization, and sequencing across planning tools.
• Champion standardization of planning templates, data structures, and governance.
• Drive adoption, measure tool usage and data quality, and report to senior leadership.
