Job summary

Bristol-Myers Squibb, based in New Jersey, seeks a Director of Program Management Systems & Infrastructure to design how program managers work across development programs and drive adoption. The role blends business process design and training/change management to ensure processes are actually used, not just documented.

You will partner with PMs, R&D leads, and PM Systems teams to translate complexity into actionable workflows and champion organizational adoption across site and remote teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech drug development with PM or PMO/R&D operations background.
• Experience designing or overhauling governance processes in regulated environments.
• Direct experience building training programs or leading organizational change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve stage-gate model, decision criteria, and governance cadence for PMs.
• Design and standardize processes for PM systems, governance, logs, and templates.
• Facilitate cross-functional process design with clinical, regulatory, CMC, and nonclinical stakeholders.
• Identify gaps, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure governance stays aligned to reality.
• Maintain SOPs, playbooks, and process docs with version control and audit readiness.
• Design onboarding curricula and role-based training paths for PMs.
