Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Director, Development Planning Systems & Tools to own the strategy, standards, and roadmap for planning systems used by Program Managers and Global Program Teams. The role partners with BI&T to translate portfolio needs into a concrete technology and process plan, balancing near-term PM needs with long-term platform strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical drug development or portfolio management.
• Experience owning or governing enterprise planning tools (e.g., Planisware, MS Project).
• Strong understanding of IADPs, IPES, and AI/ML tool integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the planning tools portfolio strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Partner with BI&T to translate needs into business cases and success criteria.
• Drive governance, templates, data structures, and tool adoption.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with GPLs, PMs, and Analytics.
