Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is hiring a Director who will design and implement program-management workflows, governance models, and supporting templates across development programs. This hybrid role blends business design with training and change management to ensure adoption of standardized PM processes.

You will partner with practicing PMs and R&D leads to translate complexity into actionable workflows and drive organizational adoption.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech drug development.
• Designing or overhauling governance processes in a regulated environment.
• Experience building and delivering training programs and leading change initiatives.
• Excellent facilitation and cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with PM tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Planisware.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve stage-gate model, decision criteria, and governance cadence.
• Design and standardize core PM system processes and templates.
• Lead cross-functional process design sessions with clinical, regulatory, CMC, and nonclinical stakeholders.
• Identify gaps, perform root-cause analysis when governance breaks down.
• Maintain SOPs, playbooks and governance docs with version control.
