The San Antonio Food Bank INC seeks an experienced leader to direct philanthropy operations, ensuring accurate, efficient fundraising systems aligned with organizational goals. This role oversees gift processing, donor data in Salesforce, reporting, and the transactional aspects of giving.

The Director of Philanthropy Operations will manage the philanthropy operations team, develop a comprehensive plan, and partner with Development to advance mission-driven fundraising and donor engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, business, or public administration; combined education and experience may substitute.
• Experience in fund development, philanthropy operations, or non-profit management.
• Proven ability to supervise, support, and develop staff with delegation and coaching.
• Experience managing non-profit budgets, financial reporting, and accounting principles preferred.
• Knowledge of fundraising operations including gift processing, reconciliation, donor database, stock gifts, and planned giving preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and oversee a comprehensive philanthropy operations plan.
• Lead staff performance, mentoring, and team development.
• Ensure Salesforce donor data integrity and SOPs; train staff.
• Reconcile donations monthly and produce revenue reports.
• Oversee donor growth strategies, including recurring giving and major gift work.
• Staff donor events and provide presentations/tours as needed.
