Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking a Director of Philanthropy Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for its internal philanthropy functions. This role oversees grants management, prospect research, planned giving, communications, data analytics, donor services and gift processing to maximize fundraising impact.

The candidate will lead multi-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and build scalable shared services across a complex healthcare philanthropy structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, nonprofit management, public administration or related field.
• Minimum of seven years in development/advancement operations or nonprofit administration.
• Minimum of five years of progressive people leadership experience managing managers.
• Experience across shared-service functions (grants, prospect research, planned giving, analytics).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Memorial Health’s philanthropic operations and shared services.
• Oversee grants management, prospect research, donor services and data analytics.
• Lead development operations to enable scalable, compliant fundraising growth.
• Coach and develop managers across multiple functions within the Foundations.
