Job summary

Trust for Public Land is seeking an Associate Director of Philanthropy Operations to act as a strategic operations partner for the department, aligning priorities with technology, data, and process improvements. You will drive performance across three teams—Prospect Development, Data Strategy & Analytics, and Gift Administration—and lead major cross-functional initiatives that support roughly 100 staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years of philanthropy operations or advancement services experience within a nonprofit fundraising context.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• Strong commitment to Trust for Public Land’s values and collaborating across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead business process analysis, requirements gathering, process redesign, and continuous improvement across the Philanthropy department to enhance efficiency and data quality.
• Lead organizational change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
• Partner with Enterprise Applications and other stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Oversee CRM governance, data quality, and ongoing optimization of philanthropy technology platforms.
• Manage the Philanthropy Service Desk and support training, reporting, and knowledge management.
