Job summary

Children’s Law Center seeks a Director of Philanthropy Operations to lead the operational backbone of the development program, including annual fund execution, event operations, and data governance. The role translates fundraising goals into reliable systems, workflows and reporting while supervising the philanthropy operations team.

Strategic collaboration with the Chief Development Officer and fundraising team ensures accurate coding, tracking and high-quality analytics; hybrid work schedule

Qualifications

• Experience managing annual fund logistics, mail or email production, and event operations, ideally with vendors and internal teams.
• Advanced proficiency with at least one fundraising CRM; DonorPerfect experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to own a function by setting standards, documenting processes and being accountable for data.
• Supervisory experience with coaching and performance development.
• Sound judgment on when to improve systems vs. protect existing processes.
• Nonprofit development operations experience; familiarity with legal services, advocacy or human services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual fund, event operations and development communications workflows; ensure campaigns run accurately and on schedule.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination for campaigns, and manage post-event processes.
