Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company seeks a Director, Organizational Effectiveness to lead the Performance Improvement group at the Davis Besse Nuclear Power Plant, overseeing corrective action, emergency planning, security, and leadership development. The role drives the station's Operations Performance Improvement program to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective operation.

Responsibilities include monitoring and improving personnel and plant performance in compliance with NRC and other

Qualifications

9–10 years of relevant business and management experience.
10+ years of either commercial or Navy nuclear experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with emphasis on issue identification, structuring, and creativity.
Strong quantitative skills and business acumen
Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to the above skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Monitoring and improving personnel and plant performance to ensure that Davis Besse is operated and maintained in accordance with the provisions of the operating license, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and other federal regulations, including the state of Ohio regulations and permits, industry codes and standards, and Luminant requirements.
Oversight of the Performance Improvement department.
Oversight of the emergency planning staff in maintaining the Emergency Preparedness Program, which functions to protect the health and safety of the public and station employees in the event of an emergency at the site.
Oversight of the management and administration of the DBES Security Organization.
