Job summary

Vistra Corporate Services Company is seeking a Manager of Nuclear Planning for the Davis Besse plant in Ohio. The role focuses on coordinating financial planning and analysis, developing high-performance financial plans, and leading economic evaluations for Vistra oversight, while guiding internal controls and financial reporting.

You will manage a high-performance team, drive cost and operational improvements, and interface with leadership on planning and portfolio issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or other related analytical discipline.
• 5 years finance work experience in a dynamic and analytical environment.
• 1 year management experience with matrix responsibilities.
• Strong information systems experience, financial and operational (e.g., data mining, financials, activity-based costing).

Responsibilities

• Actively monitors actual results vs. plan, projection, and prior year to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Interfaces with leadership on planning and portfolio issues, including volume projections.
• Manages internal financial analysis projects and short-term market studies to understand and respond to business conditions.
• Drives performance management with clear objectives and KPIs linked to safety, operations, and financial performance.
• Ensures FP&A staff are trained to fulfill long and short-term objectives.
