Job summary

EY is seeking a high-impact Strategy & Execution professional to lead end-to-end projects for private equity clients, with a focus on go-to-market, pricing, customer success, product, and operations. You will mentor teams and collaborate with executives to drive measurable value.

The role emphasizes in-person collaboration at client sites or EY offices, with travel as needed, and requires strong financial acumen, modeling skills, and PMO capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics, or related field plus 8 years of related work experience, or graduate degree with ~7 years of related work experience.
• Experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or operating roles with exposure to growth, go-to-market, or operational improvement.
• Experience leading complex workstreams or full projects in a fast-paced client service environment.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
• Excellent Excel modeling skills and ability to perform diagnostic analyses.
• Proven success in building relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including executive presentations.
• Role is primarily in-person at client sites or EY offices, with 60% time on-site on average.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of strategy and execution projects from scoping to delivery.
• Mentor and supervise a team of Consultants, Senior Associates, and directors; guide problem-solving and professional growth.
• Perform structured analyses to identify root causes, quantify opportunities, and develop data-backed recommendations.
• Build trust with senior stakeholders; communicate insights clearly and concisely.
• Translate strategy into implementation roadmaps and support client value realization.
• Contribute to proposals, client pitches, and relationships with private equity sponsors.
• Help develop IP, knowledge base, and capabilities within the PEVC practice.
