Job summary

EY-Parthenon in San Francisco handles Strategy and Execution for private equity backed SaaS portfolio companies. You will own end‑to‑end project delivery, mentor junior consultants, and drive data‑backed recommendations across go‑to‑market, pricing, customer success, product and operations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in consulting or related fields, strong financial acumen, and proven ability to influence senior stakeholders; travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field with 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or operating roles with growth or improvement exposure.
• Experience leading complex workstreams in a fast-paced client service environment.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and performance metrics.
• Excel-based modeling, operational diagnostics, and strategic frameworks.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; willing to travel and work extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of strategy and execution projects, including scoping and planning.
• Supervise and mentor a team of junior consultants; guide problem‑solving and outputs.
• Manage structured analysis to identify root causes, quantify opportunities, and develop data‑backed recommendations.
• Build trust with senior stakeholders and communicate insights clearly.
• Translate strategy into implementation roadmaps and lead or PMO on client projects.
• Contribute to proposals, client pitches, and relationships with PE sponsors and portfolio companies.
• Scale the PEVC team’s knowledge base through IP development, recruiting and team‑building.
