Job summary
Housing Authority of Cook County is seeking a Director to provide strategic leadership for the PBV and HUD Special Programs portfolio. This role oversees program operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across PBV, FSS and related initiatives.

Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience administering federally assisted housing programs or related public sector programs.
- Minimum of three (3) years of management or supervisory experience.
- Experience administering Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Programs required and HUD Special Programs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for PBV and HUD Special Programs.
- Direct all PBV program operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Oversee coordination with developers, stakeholders, and internal departments.
- Monitor program performance, occupancy, and HAP contracts.
- Evaluate and implement policy and program improvements.
- Lead organizational change and foster cross‑functional collaboration.
