Job summary

SERC‑NAHRO is seeking a Director of Housing Programs to lead the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS), and Homeownership initiatives. The role involves strategic planning, policy development, and oversight of program systems in close partnership with the CEO.

Independent judgment and leadership across the department are essential to drive outcomes. The director will represent the agency with funding sources, ensure compliance with federal regulations and state statutes,

Qualifications

• Supervisory and leadership experience in program administration.
• Experience managing federally funded affordable housing programs preferred.
• Nonprofit sector experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Determine, formulate, and implement strategies to manage HCV, HCV FSS, and HCV Homeownership programs.
• Collaborate with CEO to plan, design, implement, and evaluate program systems.
• Represent the agency with funding sources and oversee Housing Department activities.
