Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Dallas, TX seeks a Director of Payroll & HRIS to lead Payroll operations and Dayforce strategy for ~25,000 associates. You will drive automation, analytics, governance, and system enhancements across Shared Services.

Collaborating with HR, Finance, IT and operations, you will build a high-performing team, ensure compliance, and deliver scalable technology solutions that improve the associate experience and decision support at the executive level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent leadership experience.
• 10+ years in Payroll, HRIS, Shared Services, or HCM.
• Experience with large multi-location organizations (20,000+ associates).
• Strong Dayforce HCM proficiency across Payroll, WFM, Reporting & Analytics.
• Proven success in payroll operations, automation, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise payroll operations for ~25,000 associates with accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee Dayforce administration, optimization and analytics.
• Expand Dayforce investment through automation and process standardization.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Centralize processes, expand automation, and reduce property-level admin work.
• Develop automated solutions for hospitality payroll processes (tips, gratuities, IRS reporting).
• Lead enterprise reporting and analytics to support executive decisions.
• Build and mentor a high-performing Payroll & HRIS team; foster accountability and collaboration.
• Manage projects, system enhancements, acquisitions, and new property openings with change management.
• Establish governance, controls, and procedures to ensure compliance and excellence.
• Partner with HR, Finance, IT, Operations and vendors to improve payroll tech services.
